Ethyl is Marisa's Great Aunt. She's 86 years young and is very cheeky and quite irreverent. She pops up at most of Marisa's gigs and goes on tour with her, getting into all sorts of mischief and having lots of adventures.

Ethyl simply likes to have fun and does not like being told what to do or how to behave because she is "old" or a "lady". Ethyl does not have any grand political statements or persuasions, she just loves life and all who live it and doesn't understand why we all can't just get along.
